Lyubov lost her son Oleksandr on February 28, 2024, a 29-year-old Ukrainian soldier who died at the front. She could not find peace—until she met other women in the same situation through the project “The Mothers of Padre Pio’s House.” Since then, Lyubov has met the Pope, helps soldiers in whom she sees her sons, and offers a message of hope to those who are grieving.
