The Celestial Church of Christ, Jehovah Shammah Cathedral, Molipa 1, Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, has returned to the Ketu mainstream of the fold after several years of affiliation to the Nigeria Diocese-Orovboni faction.
This followed a protest that was ignited after Reverend Pastor Samuel Mabayoje Oluwo was inaugurated as the second pastor of the divided Nigeria Diocese faction of the fold.
The 58 year old Celestial Church of Christ, Jehovah Shammah Cathedral, Molipa, Ijebu Ode, which also oversees over one hundred parishes of the Nigeria Diocese faction, immediately erupted in protest, following Reverend Pastor Samuel Mabayoje Oluwo’s visit to the parish after his investiture.
Thereafter, stakeholders of the parish began talks with the Ketu mainstream led by Reverend Pastor E.M.F Oshoffa, three weeks ago, through his emissary VSE Olatosho Oshoffa (Shepherd in Charge, C.C.C Saint S.B.J Oshoffa Cathedral, International Headquarters, Ketu, Lagos).
And on Friday, 7th August, 2026, a powerful delegation from the Celestial Church of Christ, Jehovah Shammah Cathedral, Molipa 1, visited His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa at the pastoral residence in Lagos to declare and proclaim their allegiance to the Ketu mainstream of the fold under the able leadership of E.M.F.
