VIDEO: Police Uncover 425 Bags Of Suspected ‘Canadian Loud’ In Lagos Raid

The Zone 2 Police Command, Onikan, Lagos, has uncovered 425 bags of substances suspected to be “Canadian Loud” during a major anti-drug operation in the Mende area of Maryland, Lagos.

The breakthrough was disclosed by the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2, Moshood Jimoh, while briefing journalists on the operation carried out by detectives attached to the Zonal Criminal Investigation Department (ZCID), Onikan.

According to the police chief, the operation was launched following credible intelligence provided by a concerned citizen over alleged drug trafficking activities linked to a suspected 41-year-old drug kingpin.

Jimoh said detectives placed the suspect under surveillance for several months as part of investigations before eventually tracking and arresting him on May 19.
