The Celestial Church of Christ, National Headquarters, ArchDiocese, Makoko, Lagos, announces the commencement of activities for its 75th Anniversary and Annual Adult Harvest Celebration 2026, commemorating 75 years of God’s faithfulness to the Celestial Church of Christ in Nigeria and Overseas.
A landmark Unveiling Ceremony has officially launched the celebration with the presentation of the anniversary logo and theme. The Platinum Jubilee activities will run from Saturday, July 25, to Monday, August 3, 2026, featuring worship, thanksgiving, evangelism, fellowship, cultural displays, and spiritual revival.
Key events include:
Saturday, July 25: 2026 Cultural Day, celebrating the Church’s cultural diversity, harmony, and unity.
Thursday, July 30: 75th Anniversary Awards Gala, where 25 distinguished members will be honoured for their exemplary service to the Church. This event will hold at Vogue Events Center, Ebute Metta, Lagos.
Friday, July 31 (10:00 p.m. – Dawn): Praise Concert featuring inspiring praise, worship, and musical ministrations. This event will feature 8 of the leading C.C.C Choirs from across Lagos, Ogun, Oyo and Badagry areas. Leading C.C.C gospel artistes will also be ministering.
Sunday, August 2 (10:00 a.m.): 75th Anniversary Thanksgiving Service, the grand thanksgiving celebration of God’s faithfulness over the past 75 years.
A major highlight will be the ministering of Rev. Pastor Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head, Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, and Grand Patron of the Anniversary and Adult Harvest Celebration.
Other distinguished guests expected include Most Superior Evangelist J. D. Nunayon, International Headquarters Pastor’s Representative, Most Superior Evangelist S. O. Banjo, Doyen, Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide and Patron, C.C.C National Headquarters, ArchDiocese Makoko, alongside other eminent ministers, church leaders, dignitaries, and members of the Church from Nigeria and the diaspora.
The celebration provides an opportunity to thank God for His enduring faithfulness, celebrate the Church’s rich heritage, honour the sacrifices of past and present leaders, and reaffirm its commitment to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The Church invites all members, friends, government officials, religious leaders, and the general public to join in this historic celebration of 75 years of divine preservation, spiritual growth, unity, and global expansion.
