Pope Leo XIV addresses a group of non-resident ambassadors to the Holy See during the presentation of their credential letters on Thursday, and expresses his wish that their mission may “strengthen dialogue, deepen mutual understanding, and contribute to the peace so greatly needed in our world,” and warning that societies and nations that measure success on power and prosperity, but neglect the forgotten, cannot call themselves ‘humane and just.’
