

Chukwuweike Gwam has dreamed of being a surgeon since he was a young boy. After 14 years of undergraduate studies, medical school, and residency, the recipient of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) was completing his orthopedic surgery fellowship last year in Brooklyn, New York.
