Thousands of worshippers from across Nigeria and beyond are expected to converge on the Mountain of Mercy, Erio-Ekiti, from today as the week-long Erio ’26 Power Explosion begins, offering spiritual renewal, salvation, healing and practical support to people grappling with economic hardship.
The annual gathering, which runs from June 22 to June 28, is expected to feature intensive prayers, revival sessions, healing ministrations and humanitarian interventions designed to uplift participants amid prevailing socio-economic challenges.
The General Evangelist of CAC Nigeria and Overseas, Prophet Hezekiah O. Oladeji, said this year’s edition has been structured not only to address spiritual needs but also to offer relief to vulnerable individuals and families struggling under the weight of the nation’s economic realities.
According to him, the church has put in place several welfare packages, including financial assistance and gift items for parents of newborn babies, as well as families blessed with twins and triplets.
Prophet Hezekiah noted that while children are divine gifts that cannot be quantified in material terms, the church considers it necessary to support parents with resources that would ease their responsibilities and improve their welfare.
As part of efforts to encourage participation, the church has also arranged free transportation for worshippers travelling from major cities, including Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja and Port Harcourt, to the prayer mountain.
The CAC General Evangelist assured prospective participants of adequate security and welfare arrangements throughout the programme, expressing optimism that the gathering would serve as a platform for divine encounters, healing, restoration and renewed hope.
He urged Nigerians seeking spiritual intervention and encouragement to take advantage of the programme, adding that Erio ’26 Power Explosion would offer a unique opportunity for worshippers to experience God’s power while receiving practical support to navigate current challenges.
