In what many members have described as another historic step towards unity, and spiritual rebirth within the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, the Spiritual and Administrative Head of the Church, His Eminence Rev. Pastor Emmanuel Mobiyina Friday Oshoffa, on Sunday, May 10, 2026, observed worship service at CCC Rehoboth Family International Cathedral where he was warmly hosted by Most Superior Evangelist J.D. Nunayon.

The service, themed “Divine Alignment,” attracted a large congregation of Shepherds, Church workers, elders, and members who gathered in an atmosphere filled with joy, worship, and renewed hope for greater unity within the fold.
Delivering the sermon, Rev. Pastor Oshoffa admonished Christians and Celestians worldwide to continually pursue peace, reconciliation, love, and unity, emphasizing that Christ Himself commanded believers to live in peace with one another as part of the Christian faith and divine calling.

The Pastor also commended the contributions and commitment of MSE J.D. Nunayon to the growth and development of the Church in Oyo State and beyond, while reaffirming that Baba Nunayon remains the number three-ranking cleric in the hierarchy of the Church, alongside his newly affirmed position as Oyo State Evangelist.
Speaking earlier during the service, MSE Nunayon reaffirmed his commitment to the unity, peace, and progress of the Church, assuring members that he remains ready to serve faithfully under the leadership of the Pastor in whatever capacity God and the Church may require.

He also appealed to members and observers not to misunderstand the spirit behind the reconciliation, stressing that the renewed relationship with the Pastor is driven by genuine peace, love, and the collective interest of the Church rather than personal ambition or pursuit of positions.
The congregation was visibly delighted throughout the service, as many members expressed joy at seeing both the number one and number three-ranking leaders of the Church reunited and willing to put past misunderstandings behind them for the sake of the future of the Church.

In another significant moment during his visit to the ancient city of Ibadan, Rev. Pastor Oshoffa also paid a courtesy visit to Most Superior Evangelist S.I. Akindoyin at CCC Agbala-Itura Cathedral, a prominent parish personally built by Baba Akindoyin.
The Pastor prayed for MSE Akindoyin, the leadership of the parish, and members of the congregation, who were equally excited and honoured by the visit of the Church’s spiritual leader.

Rev. Pastor E.M.F Oshoffa was accompanied during both visits by members of his entourage, including his amiable wife, M.C. Celine Oshoffa, high ranking clerics in the CCC, Shepherds, and officials from different arms of the Church, further reflecting the significance of the historic engagements in Ibadan.
