The Media and IT Directorate of the Celestial Church of Christ, USA National Diocese, announces, with a painful and throbbing sense of loss, the passage of Venerable Superior Evangelist Akanni Olabode Salako, lovingly known as “Baba Salako.”
Venerable Superior Evangelist Akanni Olabode Salako was the former Supervisor of Region “B” USA National Diocese, C.C.C W/w, and Shepherd in Charge of Celestial Church of Christ, Chicago 1 Archdiocese.
The deceased was, in addition, a very active and resourceful member of the USA National Diocese, as he belonged to several strategic committees of the Diocese in his lifetime.
Baba Salako went to be with the Lord on Thursday, 25th June, 2026, at the age of 65.
May his soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.
