The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has released the official line-up of events to mark its historic 50th Golden Jubilee Anniversary, scheduled to hold from October 11 to October 18, 2026.
According to the official schedule of events released by the association, the week-long nationwide celebration will commence on Sunday, October 11, 2026, with a Grand Musical Cantata.
This will be followed by a day dedicated to humanitarian outreach and outreach efforts through Community Service projects on Monday, October 12.
On Tuesday, October 13, the celebration continues with a two-part event featuring a National Bible Quiz alongside an Ecumenical Theological Conference.
Women Empowerment and youth engagement will take center stage on Wednesday, October 14, during the Youth & Women Assemblies, followed by the CAN Jubilee Colloquium on Thursday, October 15.
Promoting peaceful coexistence remains a key highlight, as Friday, October 16 will feature an Inter-Faith Dialogue for National Unity and Cohesion.
The grand activities escalate on Saturday, October 17, starting with the Dedication of the Airport Christian Chapel, and concluding in the evening with an Anniversary Banquet, Book Presentation & Awards ceremony.
The anniversary week will culminate on Sunday, October 18, 2026, with a nationwide Thanksgiving Service.
In addition to the central schedule, on-going activities and sports competitions are set to take place simultaneously across all 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (F.C.T.).
