The Celestial Church of Christ Clergy Welfare Committee, under the leadership of AMSE Olabode, has taken a bold leap towards oling the wheels of the Clergy Health Insurance Scheme.

Penultimate week, the Committee visited the Victoria Island, Lagos Headquarters of the Skydd Insurance Brokers Limited to meet with the management in its bid to fine-tune the details of the Celestial Church of Christ Clergy Health Insurance Scheme.
According to the Chairman of the Celestial Church of Christ Clergy Welfare Committee, “We made it clear to the management of Skydd Insurance Brokers Limited that only top notch hospitals that can offer premium health services should be included in the list of hospitals to attend to members of the C.C.C Clergy. We also presented our request for the health insurance premium to be reviewed downwards.”

Members of the committee thereafter visited the pastor and spiritual head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, His Eminence, Reverend E.M.F Oshoffa, to brief him on the outcome of the visit to Skydd Insurance Brokers Limited.
In the light of the foregoing, a pastoral order would be issued to compel all C.C.C Clergy to subscribe to the C.C.C Clergy Health Insurance Scheme, as those who refuse to subscribe to the scheme may no longer be accepted when they are posted to parishes.

Says AMSE Olabode, “What we are doing in the Clergy Welfare Committee is for the benefit of our clergymen and women. It is, therefore, in their own best interest to subscribe to the scheme.”
