Tyson Fury marked his return to fighting in England with a commanding unanimous decision victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, before immediately calling out Anthony Joshua for long-awaited clash.
Moments after the final bell, Fury seized the spotlight in the ring and publicly called out Joshua, who was present ringside watching the bout.
Addressing him directly, Fury said:
“Next I want to give you the fight you have all been waiting for. I want you, Anthony Joshua. Let’s give the fans what they want; a Battle of Britain. I, the Gypsy King, challenge you. Do you accept? Don’t run from me this time.”
Before the callout, Fury had delivered a dominant and controlled performance over 12 rounds. Makhmudov started strongly, applying early pressure, but failed to sustain any meaningful offence.
As the fight progressed, Fury took control with sharp jabs, movement, and tactical switching of stances, gradually breaking his opponent down and dictating the pace until the final bell.
The judges scored the bout comfortably in Fury’s favour, confirming a successful return on home soil.
