The preservation of the liturgy, doctrine and tenets of the Celestial Church of Christ is of paramount importance. Doctrine is the infrastructure that has maintained the integrity of worship throughout the ages and it is important that we empower our members with knowledge of our doctrine so that our rites and sacrements as well as our mode of worship are not eroded over time.

This prompted VSE Michael Bakare, the Shepherd in Charge of CCC Gathering of the Saints Parish Edmonton and the Regional Evangelist of Western Canada to create a basic syllabus and organize a quarterly doctrinal seminar for all anointees of the parish, especially the men. The first one was held on Saturday the 28th of March 2026 and was well attended by many anointed men and women of the congregation led by the Shepherd VSE Michael Bakare, Sup. Evang Taiwo Oladele and Asst. Sup Evang Bunmi Adeyeri.

In this session they dealt with the Divine order & Divine Commision of the Church, church membership & baptism as well as the procedures and protocols of lighting the candles on the high altar during service; looking at and dealing with the perspectives from the anglophone and francophone lineage of the church.

The next quarter they will be dealing with CCC ranks & robes and Naming Ceremony.
